What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
WDS is a unique studio because it is offering community based classes in a positive & non-competitive environment. We strive to have classes for various age groups, abilities, LGBTQ movement, seniors & more. We want to build a family of happy & healthy people working to make Toronto a better place.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Come & enjoy yourself! Don’t stress or feel that dance, yoga, or pilates is not for you. We are all here to help you grow and to be inspired. Go in with no expectations except to have fun!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After 16 years of dancing, teaching for 5 of them & teaching well over 500 kids & adults I felt ready to launch a community based studio. Instead of having a traditional studio, I want to create a family of people wanting to make a difference in peoples lives with a purpose.
What do you love most about your job?
I love not knowing what will come out of this project. I am excited to see how this business will grow and develop. Im hoping to build in community outreach and events through the arts. Trying something I believe in is the most exciting part that can make a difference!
