Loaded Pierogi’s chefs don’t whip up the same type of pierogies made famous by Eastern European grandmothers. Instead, they upgrade the comfort food with gourmet toppings, including smoked meats and Canadian cheeses.
The Ms. Piggy combines a medley of applewood-smoked pulled pork and Quebec goat cheese and is finished off with sour cream and green onions. The duck confit pierogi arrives smothered with duck gravy, and the bacon-centric pierogi pairs center-cut bacon with double-smoked lardon, plus sauerkraut, caramelized onions, and cheddar cheese. Sweet-cheese-stuffed dessert pierogies sport apples and caramel sauce.
