The adrenalin-packed afternoon commences with a classroom session during which students learn basic driving tips, safety rules, and sweat-gland locations before breaking into small groups of maximum six per instructor. During the four-hour speed school, drivers commandeer automatic-transmission sedans through a variety of as-seen-on-TV stunts including slalom course runs, throttle steering, hand-brake 180-degree turns, reverse 180-degree spins, and accident avoidance.
