Though its name suggests a brutal stadium where two competitors enter and only one leaves, Gladiators Paintball Arenas lets players roam freely in and out of the brightly lit indoor arena equipped with turf flooring. Those amenities are available at both Gladiators’ Toronto and Gormley indoor speedball fields. Each location also has an outdoor tactical field where players can duck and cover under an open sky. Blue barrels and yellow, red, and black inflatables dot all playing grounds, where under the trained eye of referees, players blast opponents with paintballs fired from rental Tippmann 98 custom markers. Paintball guns line the shelves inside Gladiators’ pro shop, which guests can visit after matches or after attending onsite parties replete with pizza feasts and three-hour paintball sessions.
