This one-day event is presented by NoshFest, whose mission is to celebrate Jewish food and culture by showcasing delicacies unique to Jewish tradition and heritage and bringing together members of Toronto’s diverse community. Toronto’s Chanukah Market showcases vendors serving up traditional Jewish foods and local artisans selling toys, decorations, and artwork. Guests can nosh on treats, shop for the holidays, and watch live entertainment and cooking demos.
Since the holidays are also about giving, guests will be given the opportunity to donate to MAZON Canada. Mazon in Hebrew is the word for food, nourishment, and sustenance. This Jewish affiliated organization has donated millions to those suffering with hunger in Canada. Guests are also encouraged to bring non-perishable kosher food items that will be distributed to those in need.
