Both Lawn Bowling and Croquet are fun, relaxing with light physical exercise, and exciting challenges. Our club is located in a lush ravine, within a majestic park and gardens – the best location in the City.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our club was founded in 1912 and has operated continuously since, in this beautiful setting.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing new members discover, learn and enjoy both sports is a delight to me and every member. All our members pitch in to give lessons and coaching.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
We have no staff. Our members are very dedicated to advancing and playing the sports, as well as maintaining a strong social component. We often rent the facilities to groups and no one has left without a smile and thanks for an entertaining time.
