What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We specialize in classes for young children. We offer drop-off Pre Ballet classes for 2-3 year olds. We also offer Mommy & Me classes for children as young as 18 months. Your little ones will love this fun class where they will explore dance with props such as bean bags, hula hoops and a parachute
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
It can be intimidating for a new student to walk in the studio without mom or dad on the first day. We recommend that parents tell their little ones that they will be watching them from the studio’s window. Teachers are always there early to greet your children and make them feel comfortable.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Carolyn decided to pursue a dance career when she was 9 years old. She has a BFA in Dance as well as B.Ed from York University. She started her business because she felt there weren’t many quality dance classes available for young children. She loves to see her students grow and progress!
What do you love most about your job?
As the Artistic Director and Founder of Dancing With Carolyn, the best part of my work continues to be teaching dance classes to young children. Some of our students have been with us for years and it is wonderful to see them grow into beautiful dancers.
