To say that Jennifer Aucoin is an expert in Latin dance is a bit of an understatement. The founder along with a team of instructors at Steps Dance Studio is so familiar with the sensuous steps of salsa, bachata, and Latin Hustle, she’s served on the judges panel at international competitions around the world, and even founded an annual salsa festival that takes place every year in Toronto. At her studio, Jennifer aims to make Latin dance accessible to all people, even those who have no previous dance experience. Beginning with basic step patterns, lessons progress through more advanced skills such as partner turns, syncopation, and stamping out messages in morse code. To add a little variation to the mix, Steps Dance Studio also runs monthly workshops and studio parties.
