Tapas at Embrujo brings a little slice of Spain to the heart of Greektown, then adds a musical twist. Chef Jose Salgado—who’s appeared on the Food Network’s Kitchen Equipped and has produced concerts for Jordan Knight and Rick Springfield—combines authentic tapas dishes with traditional Spanish entertainment so that guests don’t have to resort to playing Sudoku on a dozing date’s forehead. The result: dishes of duck confit or scallops with saffron sauce complemented by flamenco dancers twirling with the style’s signature passion. Diners can also dig into a paella, whether it’s a mix of seafood or the vegetarian version with saffron-infused rice, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, and fava beans.
