Workshops take place at the gallery: 1107 Queen Street East and cover the following:
Day 1: 1.) What lens to use for what; 2.) Aperture versus shutter speed priority versus manual mode; 3.) When to use or not use a tripod; 4.) Controlling depth of field (DOF); 5.) Hyperfocal distance focus; 6.) Zone focus techniques and how to correctly exposure (how to read your histogram if you are shooting digital).
Day 2: 1.) Lighting: Flash, Natural Light, and Reflectors; 2.) Composition; 3.) Spend some time shooting out side; 4.) Critique.
Knowledge of these techniques is very useful for everything from street to portrait photography. By the end of the second day you are set to take amazing pictures.
