Having already netted six National Lacrosse League titles, the Rock have once again rolled to the top of the East Division with a league-best 6–2 record. In those eight games, the offence has scored 97 goals behind the crisp passes and trick shots of veterans Garrett Billings and Colin Doyle—the NLL’s second- and third-place leaders in points, respectively. Not to be outdone, Nick Rose has established himself as one of the league’s best goaltenders. He sets the pace for all goalies with six victories, and his 333 saves make opponents think twice before they try to sneak a shot or a buzzing beehive into the Rock’s net.

The Toronto Rock were the first Canadian team to join the National Lacrosse League—only they did so under a different name. The Ontario Raiders were established in 1998 and spent one season as Hamilton, Ontario’s home team. At that point, the franchise was sold and relocated to Toronto, where they began play as the Rock.
