Your Hummer adventure begins with a military-style pickup in an H1 Hummer, which will shuttle you up to the Petun Conservation Area. After being equipped with a state-of-the-art pair of snowshoes — and shown how to use them — you’ll take in the sights and sounds of a Canadian winter on a variety of nature trails. High atop the Niagara escarpment, you’ll take in a gorgeous view of Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach, and Collingwood from one of the highest elevations along the Bruce Trail. You’ll also learn about the history of the Petun Conservation Area, which was named after the aboriginal inhabitants that once lived there. Two hours and a hot drink later, you’ll be whisked back to civilization by the waiting Hummer.
