Waterfalls’ crafty chefs spice up their dinner menu with a selection of Indian tapas and fusion cuisine that has garnered favourable reviews from Toronto Life and Globe and Mail. Called “a great sharing dish” by Toronto Life, a vegetable combo platter invites dining groups to untangle from their weeklong thumb war and split morsels of veggie pakoras, onion bajis, and samosas. Vegetarian and vegan main dishes blanket palates with options such as mutter paneer, a blend of peas and Indian cottage cheese. For meaty fare, butter chicken sings the flavours of Indian spices as a tomato cream sauce cascades over its boneless meat. Chefs load dried fruits, nuts, and coconut into Kashmiri rice before topping Waterfalls’ special naan bread in onion, garlic, and chili. Diners can also customize their meal by whispering into the eatery’s thermostat with their choice of edible heat levels ranging from medium to very spicy.
