Formerly known as Romagna Mia, Paganelli’s and its eponymous chef and master salumiere, Gabriele Paganelli, whips up a multifarious menu of authentic Northern Italian cuisine, featuring homemade cured meats alongside pastas, sauces, and desserts made from scratch. Partake in midmorning munching with the weekend brunch menu, populated by sweet and savoury nibbles including piadina alla nutella, Romagnolo-style flat bread coated in an ambrosial patina of chocolate-and-hazelnut spread ($7.95). Chefs artfully stuff pasta pillowcases, like candy hoarders on Halloween, with ricotta and swiss chard before bathing them in a butter-sage sauce with asparagus, completing the ravioli alla piacentina con asparagi dish ($16).
