This tour is 2 hours in lengths and departs from the Royal Ontario Museum on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
The Ghosts of University of Toronto tour is a ghastly glimpse into the past of this storied academic institution. Hear U of T’s urban legends, such the story of the famous Canadian author who returned from the grave to haunt Massey Hall. The eerie grounds of U of T are an ideal atmosphere for ghostly storytelling. This 90 minute tour begins and ends at the Royal Ontario Museum, and runs Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00pm, and Fridays at 7:00pm.
The Bloody York: Crime and Punishment tour reveals the harsh side of Toronto’s early history. Learn about the bad old days, when a bread thief could be sent straight to the gallows. Hang out in old jail cells and check out Market Lane (the site of the old stocks) while being regaled with gritty and gruesome tales about Toronto before it was the peaceful metropolis we know and love. This 1 hour tour begins at the Flatiron building and is offered on Thursdays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 1:00pm.
