Piazzetta Trattoria earned its street credentials thanks to tantalizing thin crust oven-baked gourmet pizza. They also specialize in other mouth-watering menu options such as appetizers, pasta dishes, entrées consisting of meat or seafood, desserts, coffee and tea. For a seafood laden starter, the Salmone Marinato is a wonderful medly of thin slices of smoked salmon, mixed greens, capers goat cheese, sweet red onions and extra virgin olive oil ($12). An entrée for the health conscious is the Penne Integrati ($17), which consists of whole wheat pappardelle pasta with eggplant, diced tomatoes, grilled chicken and roasted peppers in an extra virgin olive oil and roasted garlic sauce. If menu options send you into a frenzy of indecisiveness, go with their signature dish, the Piazzetta Pizza ($15).
